Fitting Characteristics & Trouble Shooter for Soft Lenses=


When evaluating the fit of a soft contact le= ns, it is essential that, the lens is allowed to remain in the eye long enou= gh to replace the free water with tear fluid from the patient’s eye = and settle down. A minimum of 25 minutes is recommended.

If fitting a low water lens (38%), evaluate the fitting using a low water trial lens, similarly fitting= a high water lens (72% +) use a high water trial lens. =
